47 x 175mm Sawn C24 Treated Carcassing Timber
Sawn softwood carcassing graded C24 for structural use, 47mm thick by 175mm wide and supplied by the linear metre. C24 is the higher of the two common UK structural softwood grades, giving greater permissible spans than C16 at the same section.
The timber is pressure treated, so it resists decay and insect attack in damp and external positions. Used for floor joists and stud partitions and for external framing where a treated structural grade is required.
