47 x 75mm Sawn C24 Treated Carcassing Timber
This 47 x 75mm carcassing timber is sawn softwood graded to C24, a structural strength grade for higher-load applications than C16. Sawn means it is cut straight from the log and not further machined, giving a rougher, non-uniform surface compared with regularised timber. The timber is pressure treated, with preservative forced in under pressure to protect against rot and insect attack.
Used for floor and roof joists and stud walls where a structural, treated section is required.
